Can you believe it is a new year already?  I have to say that 2012 left me a little dizzy.

There were many things I accomplished in 2012 with the help of my dedicated staff who try very hard to stay a step ahead of me and keep me on track.

One of the things I did neglect in 2012 is posting to the blog. Fear not, one of my new year’s resolutions is to make sure I make a post at least once a month.

We are in the process of so many changes at Gigi’s.

We will have more new product lines shortly and we are ready to start making progress on our Architectural Salvage Room.  If you haven’t been by to see Gigi’s Pick of the Month please check in with us. Each month we choose a theme and we display items at the front of the store which fall into this category and we always have a few accessories which go along with the theme.  The theme for January is “Clocks”.  Take a look.

I want to thank all of you who supported our ideas in 2012 and I look forward to seeing you in 2013.

      For those of you who have not seen the new murals on our building you are in for a treat. They are 99% complete and look absolutely awesome!  Give us your feedback as we are always interested in hearing your comments. Shannon Lake, his wife Tamara, and son, Lofton are responsible for this amazing artwork.

     We are working on our upcoming Design Center. At this moment our awnings from the front are stored in there and we will not be able to work on our floors until our outside painting is complete. In the interim we are purchasing awesome merchandise to occupy this space. Our local artist, Joyce Smith will be displaying and selling her awesome artwork in this space. We will keep you posted as to the progress we are making, and please be planning your next design project.

      This Saturday is St. Patrick’s Day and we will be serving limeade and cookies. Stop in to visit. We always have new items and look forward to your visits.

After many months of planning and much hard work Gigi’s Antique Griffin has become a reality.

Shannon Lake is working on the outside mural and our building is getting a lot of attention.

We will be working on the Design Center as soon as the outside painting is complete.

There is no shortage of ideas with this project. I just hope my back and legs hold up to the tasks. Thanks to several great helpers we are getting things accomplished.
